World Health Organization recently issued the following announcement. 

The waterpipe tobacco smoking and health fact sheet is adapted from the second edition of the WHO Advisory Note on waterpipe tobacco smoking: health effects, research needs and recommended actions for regulators. 

In response to growing concerns about the increasing prevalence and potential health effects of waterpipe tobacco smoking, this fact sheet provides an overview of the health effects of waterpipe tobacco smoking for WHO Member States and research agencies.
